Canada names touring squad for Europe

Fourteen of Canada’s domestically-based players will fly to Wales on November 9th, where they will meet with fifteen of Canada’s professional players; the 29 will make up the Canada squad to play Wales on November 17th, in Cardiff, and Italy on November 25th in Fontanafredda, near Venice.

Because of the unavailability of some of its professional players and because of the limited availability of others, Canada will be without three of the team that thrashed the USA 56-7 in its Rugby World Cup Qualifying game in St. John’s, Newfoundland on August 12th. Missing are prop Rod Snow, flanker Jamie Cudmore and back row Colin Yukes. [...]
