South Africa's Currie Cup Final saw the Cheetahs shock the Bulls 29-25 at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, after trailing 25-12 in the final quarter.

Earlier that same day, Auckland smashed Otago 39-11 to win New Zealands National Provincial Championship (NPC) for the 15th time.

On Sunday, Graham Henry and his panel selected their 35-man All Black squad for next month's tour to the U.K. Henry had earlier assured that there wouldn't be any "bolters" named, but there were a few that came as complete shocks and a few surprising non-selections.

And in European Heineken Cup competition, the Edinburgh Gunners upset defending champs London Wasps 32-31 at Murrayfield.
