The All Blacks fought back to beat the Wallabies in a tough physical battle at Eden Park, winning 34-27 and claiming the Tri-Nations championship with two tests remaining. The All Blacks trailed 20-11 at half-time.

New Zealand's win added-up to a 3-0 blackwash and 5th successive win over their trans-Tasman rival. It is the kiwis 7th title in the 11th year of the competition. Australia and South Africa have split the other four championships 2-2.

Highlight of the match:

Toss-up. 1. Jason Eaton's try at the end of an awesome 25-meter forward surge in the first half? Or Ali Williams doing a Jonah Lomu on Mark Gerrard?
