Umaga scores on Toulon debut

Former All Black captain Tana Umaga made a scoring debut with his first touch of the ball for his French club Toulon in their 22-16 victory over Lyon in the French Second Division on Sunday.

The 33-year-old centre started repaying part of the reported €300,000 he is being paid while he takes a temporary leave of absence from the game back in New Zealand with the only try for the hosts in the 23rd minute.
