Rugby Canada reports:

Justin Mensah-Coker signs with Albi

Despite initial speculation that he was on his way to joining Northampton in England, Canadian international Justin Mensah-Coker has signed with Albi of France's Top 14.

The French club announced on Tuesday that the winger had signed a one year deal with the newly-promoted outfit.

The 22 year-old winger will join many other Canadian players in France, including Canada captain Morgan Williams, who is also at Albi.

Williams transferred from Stade Francais in the off-season; he and Mensah-Coker played together for Canada recently at the Rugby World Cup qualifier in Newfoundland and prior to that in the Churchill Cup.

I have a lot of time for Mensah-Coker (here and here), I think he's a flashy winger with loads of potential and it was a no-brainer Euro clubs would be interested. The guy has gas to burn. If he works hard at his defence he has a chance to become a star.
