USRFF to Auction Autographed Scott Gibbs Barbarians Jersey

The Foundation is very excited about this month's jersey on auction. Not only was it worn by Scott Gibbs, one of Wales' all-time greats, but it is also a jersey from one of the most storied clubs in the world, the Barbarians. To top it off, Scott autographed the jersey. Just be the high bidder and this jersey is yours.

"The Foundation is very appreciative of Scott's generosity in donating a coveted Barbarians jersey to assist in the development of the game in the US," said USRFF Executive Director Brian Vizard. "Scott's reputation as one of the sports' all-time great competitors is well known to even those like me who never had the opportunity to play against him. His donation of the jersey to support our program speaks volumes about the man and his ongoing commitment to the development of the sport."

This Barbarians jersey was worn by #12 Scott Gibbs in a match against Scotland at Murrayfield on May 31, 2000 and can be found on eBay, item #180021814141. The bidding will conclude at 11:00 am (PST) on Sunday, September 3, 2006. All proceeds raised from this auction will help support USRFF youth and high school rugby programs.
