New Zealand's Black Ferns opened the Womens Rugby World Cup competition in Edmonton, Alberta this afternoon with a slick and devastating 66-7 demolition job over hosts Canada.

Question: Why is Australian referee George Ayoub wearing a red jersey with black & white arms, black shorts and black socks that it is virtually identical to the Canadian womens kit?
